Branch Chair · Surgery CPD Lead
Provides branch direction and leadership, leads surgery CPD linked to his specialist interests, and is a driving force for marketing the podiatry profession. Michael is one of the co-owners of AA Podiatry in Glasgow, with clinics in Clarkston and the East End of Glasgow, has special interests in private practice and back-end systems, and is passionate about student engagement.
Branch Treasurer · Digital and Marketing Lead · MSK, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Medical Diagnostic Ultrasound CPD Lead
Supports branch finance, web design, CRM, marketing and behind-the-scenes systems, alongside CPD across MSK, rheumatoid arthritis and medical diagnostic ultrasound. Sarah-Jane owns The Hub Glasgow, with three clinics in Glasgow providing podiatry, physiotherapy and Pilates, and has special interests in private practice and public health in podiatry.
Branch Secretary · Vascular CPD Lead · Independent Prescribing
Works with NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and supports branch administration, digital communication, Canva design and email marketing. Nancy is one of the main leads for vascular CPD, has special interests in orthopaedics, surgery and vascular care, and has recently been undertaking her independent prescribing course.

Works for NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, leads the branch vascular CPD area, and brings a strong focus on high-risk patient care and leadership.
Student Coordinator
Recently graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University and helps connect students with branch activity. Heather has a special interest in podiatry and its link with restrictive eating disorders.
Back to Basics Lead
The main branch link for Back to Basics and organiser of the Back to Basics CPD programme. Ann has a special interest in Curacorn and private practice, and runs Ann Melville Podiatry in Gourock.
Trade Communication and Coordination · Local Anaesthetic CPD Lead
The main liaison and communication lead for trades, and leads the branch Local Anaesthetic CPD area. Margaryta runs Advance Medical Podiatry in Glasgow and has a special interest in private practice.
Branch Member · POM-S Update Lead
Takes the lead on presenting the prescription-only medicines update for the branch. Laura Jane owns La Preme Clinic in Glasgow city centre and has special interests in independent prescribing, cosmetic podiatry and private practice.
Although we are the Glasgow Branch, our CPD is open to national and international professionals across our extended network, including colleagues beyond podiatry.
The team gives time voluntarily to keep learning active, support students and newly qualified professionals, and create useful spaces for clinicians and wider healthcare colleagues to meet, learn and share ideas.
The committee works across education, communication and collaboration so members can find useful local opportunities more easily.
